I'm black tho
Omg I could go on forever about this. I am lofting right now actually though so bear with me.@Prokofievian @Jesus H. Sherdog I am having a strange gym experience.
Is there anything diagnostic about having a relatively strong squat but being extremely uncomfortable under a squat safety bar?
I can't tell if it's just throwing off my positioning and bar path or forcing me to realize I have not been positioning my midback correctly all this time.
Ahhhhhhhh le sigh.Right on. My bad.
Hers the deal though. I can't summarize decades of the man's life in any meaningful way. Nor can I identify what's potentially meaningful to you. Either his tales suck you in or they don't. But I stand by my assertion that he's lived a life beyond what most would even dream of.

I think the guy in cornrows is light skinnedI'm black tho
Well, that is explained by this. And I would totally say "me pissed in his cornflakes ". Followed by " hulk is strongest one of all"
I think you only say that because you didn't understand the question. It seemed like an honest answer to me. Granted one that does require a bit of knowledge regarding who Henry is and how he's spent the last 40 years.

Here's the deal though. If you look back, I have not been asking you about him or what he says although cliffs of the video might have been useful.
I asked you (and this would be the fourth time now I think) what you derived from it; I thought it would be interesting but you seem to deliberately misunderstand. To be clear, in what ways do his sharing of life experience shape your world view? Mind you, it's ok to say that's too hard to articulate if you could at least gave me your view on some over-arching concept that was in some way shaped or challenged by Rollins. You chose to do neither, even after saying, "Right on. My bad."
When you posted the video it did not appear to be in any way intended to provoke jocularity. I felt that was an invitation to probe your thought processes in terms of what the things Rollins is saying have meant to you, not a light-hearted exchange. I gave you multiple opportunities to stop dancing around and speak with some honesty on what I actually asked you about and you just dodged and dodged. Do you understand the irony of posting a video of him as a noteworthy thinker while being totally unwilling to discuss what you have learned from him?
If it seems like I'm taking this quite a bit more seriously than you, it's unfortunate, it's probably true, and it's the actual point I'm making. You appreciate that he is thought-provoking but you can't see that you're resisting me from doing the same because of some weird sense of superiority via transference. If you can't say what you think about something do you think anything about it at all?
Classic liberal tactic, telling a POC what being black actually is.I think the guy in cornrows is light skinned

But it is not unusual or strange! In fact, the more advanced and more time under a regular bar that a power lifter has the more likely there is to be a big discrepancy between even their high bar squat and the safety bar squat.
The quick answer for now is that it’s not a diagnostic problem and you are not unusual on this respect. The safety bar squat activates muscles differently, and requires a more upright torso positioning, than even the high bar squat. It purposely activates your upper back musculature more, creates a higher center of gravity, and displaces weight forward. Unless you have a monster front squat almost every single person will not be able to safety bar squat as heavily and as confidently as they back squat without a good amount of practice on it. The good news is it can have very positive effects on your squats and even Olympic lifts
