Dunno what the name is in English but we had hide and seek combined with tag, where people had to reach a base too.
I think you made that 3 second rule to benefit yourself.

Pretty infuriating rule. Someone get's you thinking (Nice, this slow kid is easy picking) And then you just bench press them off of you. Those rules were passed down from generation to generation in the Greater Northeast.
Their true origin is intensely debated still by Philadelphia historians....
One of the more egregious expiry dates ive encountered.

I would just run straight at them lol
Was the person allowed to jump onto you and piggy back you? That's what I would have done
Eye tag was the weird one we played around here when I was wee lad

It was way too complicated and full of fuckeryHow did that work?
The best part of this was when someone you didn't like gets caught first and you were the last one left you would walk out and purposely get yourself out instead of saving them by making it to the base.It was way too complicated and full of fuckery
The person who was 'it' had to count while everyone hid. They would then have to find the people hiding. When you found someone you would call their name the run back to 'base' and tag the base to get them out. If they made it there first, they were safe. The goal was to sneak around and make it to the base without being seen. The first person caught would be the next person who was 'it', but the game would keep going until everyone was either out or safe. If the last person makes it the base safely then everyone who was out becomes safe and the person who was 'it' stays 'it'. If you camp the base the round starts over so you have to wander away from it.
see my two posts aboveWhat the hell is that?!
