I get that but the pure amount of fans in this one feels like it'd be redundant to do any sort of liquid cooling in it.

Those are the best cases for water cooling. You're not JUST cooling with water, you're still venting ambient heat from the case (just less of it if you're doing it right). I'm not trying to talk you out of air cooling at all (I air cool myself), just don't think that you're locked into a certain mode because of your case. More airflow is almost never ever a bad thing.
