A "number of people have been killed" after a car was driven into a crowd in the Canadian city of Vancouver, local police have said.
Vancouver Police said "multiple others" were injured during an incident at a street festival on Saturday evening.
The force said the driver is in custody.
It is not yet known how many people have been killed.

In a post on X, police said "a driver drove into a crowd at a street festival at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser" shortly after 20:00 local time on Saturday (03:00 GMT Sunday).

LOL at Houthis trying to take credit for some freak accident. Kind of like ISIS taking credit for any random plane crash or explosion that involves the US. "We did that!" lol sure vultures.

Just asked my neighbor and this is what he said

"We think the tractor was pushing it out to the elevator and something allowed it to bump over the ramp along the deck. Normally. If it's under tow there is a lot of control. But sometimes, let's say when the ship is turning, there is more risk. And that's when bad shit happens. "
 
It'll interesting though to see if we post a negative GDP for Q2 this year. Then technically we've hit the definition for recession. But if we're even still sitting around 4.5 unemployment and market stays around where it is now it probably won't be all that noticeable overall.

Funnily they actually have an argument for causing it, I've seen articles say the carrier was doing evasive maneuvers against houthi attacks when it fell which certainly couldve contributed
