Just read that auto thefts in Oakland, Ca. were up over 44% from last year with over 14,500 cars stolen in 2023.

That's over a 1,000 cars taken a MONTH.

And since in Alameda County, which includes Oakland, police are not allowed to pursue stolen cars (unless they are known to have been involved in other felonious activity), many of them
are just out roaming around committing robberies, etc. not caring if someone gets their license plate because the car is hot.

Good movie with some dead spots in the middle, and a general Nolan-like distant feeling. 7.5 is about right.

Okay, Im back to posting the War Room again to talk about how much I hate politicians, how our elections are a joke and how stupid the American people are.

Because almost all of them (at least on the Federal level) are self serving liars. I don't like our government structure and the way it fosters a two party system. I think a parliamentary system is much better representative of the overall ideology of a society.

I think they're both defensible. A parliamentary system is probably better in our current environment, given the declining effectiveness of norms on the right, and the general rejection of the opposition's legitimacy on the right. But I still kind of see what's going on as a fever that will pass. Either way, I don't think it makes our current elections a joke.

BTW, you never got back to me on our bet on how high 2020 U3 would hit:

Obviuosly certain hot spots are overrun with patients and in dire need of particular supplies. But in general that argument holds no merit, at least of yet. NO argument for ANY concern over the virus holds merit "at least of yet" since we have not reached the kind of case numbers in the US...
