If you say so. With all these differing opinions on what he actually was, it seems more like he's a quantum mechanical phenomenon rather than an actual poster. Or maybe a collective nightmare everyone had, but no one can quite remember the details of it.

Maybe the legend is more interesting than the man himself.

He was a highly successful agitator. Not likely to impress you with his ability to reason or debate skills. But if you liked flaming taken to another level around here than he was your man. Personally I found him a little off-putting and don't miss his antics.

I definitely don't have that many. You and bush have me beat for sure. I have friends with lots of stuff so I get to use lots of stuff. I also go check out lots of stuff.

I probably have more than 80 guns but i only have 2 supressors and several of my guns are basically brand new and haven't been upgraded yet, like a few rifles that I haven't gotten around to putting scopes on, some glocks that still have the shorty plastic sights etc, etc.

I think we come here (well, some of us do) to discuss the facts, not to list them. Having an informed opinion that you support with data and logic, in addition to subjective factors, is good, but I don't really see that from him. I dunno. Could be that I just don't read most of his stuff.

U should read more of his stuff. Def gets Russia correct unlike many on the right that are just circle jerking to Putin.

One of the saddest trends has been smart right-wingers moving left or leaving. When I started posting here, we had Gandhi, mkess, Lee, you, Pan, GermanBJJ, unc, sqrl, National Acrobat, and the OracleofMMA (just that I can remember) that gave intelligent right-wing takes. Now only Pan is both still around and still noticeably on the right (though a lot of right-wing nutters try to disown him). Not that there couldn't be a lot of heated discussions with those guys, and times when I thought they were completely out to lunch, but the discussions had real substance--it was people who had a point of view about what was best for the country and defended it passionately against people who had a different point of view. Now you just have these hive-mind trolls "in it for the lulz." And what's more, they even encourage smarter right-wingers to circle jerk with them (and some smarter right-wingers encourage their fucktardery). Even the trolls in 2011/2012 were repeating half-digested Austrian idiocy rather than quarter-digested Stormfront idiocy (Wingslaught did both, though he was more halfway between mouth-breather and decent poster).

Although i may have changed some emphasis on things I wonder if I moved left as much as the world and the USA in particular has moved right. I suspect my values are exactly the same but my thinking has just been refined a bit more in some areas (better understanding of policy, market failures, and interaction between economic and political power and refutation of specific right libertarian talking points).
