Also, there is a distinction when posters call a politician or public figure a name compared to calling another poster names. You can't really flame a public figure and it isn't fighter bashing. Kinda a perk of the war room

The stuff that gets people tagged are racial, homophobic (f), or anti-Semitic slurs.

Why don't women make the cut when it comes to special protections here? Just a reflection of society's bigotry I suppose.

I legit had a girl take a swing at me for saying it. We were having drinks at a bar, just hanging out, I was telling a story, and using it "second hand"

"Don't say that word."
"What word? Cunt?"
"Blamo!"

Almost fell out of my chair laughing.

I believe you, trust me. I've seen it unfold with others almost exactly like you said. It's the ultimate trigger word for many women in particular.

Maybe we could think of the most vulgar poster award to keep this from derailing too far

I didn't get that . . . You can't flame a public figure?

No I meant the opposite. Like people will get mad when someone talks shit about a politicians like "Bill Clinton is an asshole" and think that is deserving of infractions but that's never been something I've seen. You can trash them pretty much. It applies more to poster to poster to avoid a conversation going bad quickly

I'm actually surprised how polite the language is in here, all things considered. Since Sloppy is gone I can't think of one gutter mouth.

The other thing that makes me not feel guilty about it is I would use it on anyone if I did. I call girls I know a dick sometimes. The insults really never apply to their gender

Lol. I was going to nominate sloppy for it actually. Glenrod gets vulgar from time to time I believe

Yeah, he can get worked up, but just as quickly chill out and apologize. Personally I thinks he's good people.

Then again, you're not suggesting a "hot to cold" award, so he fits.

Vulgar goes beyond foul language. I should really be a front-runner here. <cheer>

Honorable gotta go out to @Coolidge. He doesn't show up much, but iirc that fella can weave together a pretty decent profanity laden tirade.
