Doesn't seem right to say it if he doesn't want to say it himself, but on the other hand, he has admitted it in the forum before. Bald1 gave a really strong hint (which is what got KK to make the joking c*** response).

That's the kind of morally upright response one expects from ehtheist. After falsely being credited with someone else's joke, he says nothing and then copies it.

Actually, I was unaware that Bald made that post at 10:34 PM yesterday that I stole the "joke" from... Just like I'm sure you were unaware that I made this post at roughly 5:30 PM yesterday in another thread:

I kind of like how you've built me up to be some mastermind of dishonesty and underhanded activity. It's flattering that someone thinks there is that much method and calculation to what I'm doing here.

I don't read so much into irrelevancy. It's just disappointing how much dishonesty is engaged in and tolerated around here. Like I was saying to someone else, one of my early experiences in the WR was reading a thread on "jokes" (just basically partisan team-building that painfully attempted to be funny) about Obama that were falsely attributed to various late-night talk-show hosts. I corrected the record, and a bunch of people were infuriated about it. I hadn't encountered WR-style political discussions before (like, people I knew either didn't follow or care about politics at all or they were smart and decent), and I was shocked that "telling the truth is good and lying is bad" was regarded as a partisan sentiment and not something universally agreed on. Petey did something similar in another thread and just attacked me when I pointed out his error (while Anung posted a hilarious theory that I was trying to distract from the cited piece, even though I agreed with the portion of it I read--didn't even occur to him that others value truth).

Anyway, what do you think I miss the mark on that "actually matters" (matters more than decency)?

So... Speaking of "dishonesty" that "gets tolerated around here"... You're just kind of going to gloss over that you rushed in here to accuse me of stealing a joke that I made 5 hours before the person you're claiming I stole it from, aren't you?

Yeesh.

Point is that Bald made a joke, DS misrembered you as being the source of it, and when you saw that, you didn't correct the record--you just repeated bald's joke. That's pretty much what I expect from you so no biggie.
