it's really messing with my feels but the pacing is fantastic
I don't know what else Anne Heche has been in, but I won't argue with you that her acting sucks in this movie.Anne He he ruins everything she is in. Tommy Lee Jones is the most one dimensional actor ever. The movie was typical popcorn light fare. Fun fact, the little girl grew up to be a weirdo SJW Hipsterette that does full frontals and exposes prehistoric sized Bush.

Only seen it once and I have no memory of her (I am lucky right?) but it wasn't a movie I liked because the whole plot was spoiled for me by the trillions of Donnie Brasco references after it came out. Thanks for the heads up, I might've considered watching it again someday and now I definitely won't hahaShe is the number one impediment to being able to regularly rewatch Donnie Brasco.
He was in Sons of Anarchy and Deadwood
lolAnd Planet of the Apes. This can’t just be coincidence.
I can't think of a better disaster movie off the top of my head, going to check a few lists though to be sure.
I'm giving it an 8/10 which might seem a bit high but I thoroughly enjoyed it, plus it wasn't overly cheesy.
You're really recommending it? I might watch it next to compare seeing as they both came out in the same yearDante's Peak or GTFO.
is that a George Clooney movie?Has this built you up to watch Twister next?
Might have to reduce my score to a 7 because of the script, just read a review that was too accurate to ignore lolI can't think of a better disaster movie off the top of my head, going to check a few lists though to be sure.

I'd need to rewatch Pompeii (2014) and San Andreas (2015) to see how they stack up against it, I can barely remember either. I couldn't sit through 2012 (2009) and I don't think I've checked out The Day after Tomorrow (2004) though presumably those last 2 movies are about all the elements.

The other scientist’s death in the tunnel, the subway guy on the train and the fireman burning up in the crashed truck are as brutal of deaths as I can remember in a popcorn disaster moviedang this ain't for the faint hearted
