if Chael made it out of the 1st round the fight would have been stopped and Chael would have won via TKO-injury.

That's the only moment that my heart starting racing and I felt a pit at the bottom of my stomach. I was thinking the arm was about to get snapped. It's weird that his only blemish was the one where he almost killed Hamil.

1. Vitor had an armbar that lasted 5 seconds. Other than that he was completely dominated the entire fight.

2. Rumbles liver failed the previous night due to a horrible cut to 185. Not to mention there was obvious collusion taking place in that fight.

Bullshit. He was 197 pounds when Vitor agreed to allow him to fight at 205. He fought at 204. I'm glad Rumble's doing well and I hope he beats Jones but the excuses need to stop.

The fact Jones finished Chael with a mangled toe shows Chael wasn't in the game.

Bones has been tested repeatedly in a variety of ways and always come up the winner. I honestly think he is on a path to greatest of all time. Just as an example of how far ahead of the game he is. GSP holds the record for most wins in the UFC with 19. Bones already has 15 wins and he is 27 years old.

He finished like 9 of those guys. Its a testament to Bones' greatness that even when Vitor gets him in an arm bar or when Gus gives him hell for 5 rounds he still finds a way to win.

The closest Bones came to losing his belt is when he degloved his big toe against Chael and the ref didn't notice and he had to finish the fight right then and there or it would be stopped by the doc at the end of the round. He literally had to turn it up a notch and finish basically on demand, immediately.

I don't know. They let Uriah Hall fight with a similar injury.

I think a lot of people are forgetting Jones debut fight in the UFC against the tall lengthy Andr

I don't know what injury you are talking about but Bones degloved his big toe. It would not have continued, all the meat on his toe almost slid off leaving nothing but the bone sticking out. That is why they call it degloved. Some fighters fear it so they tape their toes.

You lot are some sorry motherf*kers starting threads about who was the closest to

beating Jon Jones. If that's not a solid reason for a man to be called GOAT I don't know what is.

since you are "new" here I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
here's a pic of Jone's toe that he(Jon himself) damn near ripped off in the 1st round.

That's how it was after Jon's landed from his post fight handstand celebration.

During the fight the skin hadn't been broken and it wasn't really noticeable. Anyhow, there was close to 30 secs. left in the fight and Chael was in a horrible spot.

Chael was likely to tap if the fight hadn't been called when it did like he did against Shad.

He wasn't a few seconds from breaking Jon's arm as Jon got out of it himself. It's not like he got saved by the bell.

That's not Jones...

In some way he was. If Vitor had just used a better technique to apply the submission, Jones would have had his first real loss.

yea but gsp had an ACL and took a year off, also he retired at 31 I think. So it's closer than those numbers suggest. But Jones has the highlight real to claim he's the best ever.

No he wasn't. Jones wasn't even close to tapping.

Gus on another day could've got the decision

After that suprise! Vitor was pushed and Jones turned his arm into a chicken wing.

Victor had zero success after that, it was a good sneaky attempt.

DC and Gus came the closest. Both Faded!

Nah. Gus or Rashad. Rashad had him threatened a couple of times, machine had him threatened twice, gus more or less picked him apart bad until the end of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round satan of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round of round 3. Then it was all JBJ.

Rumble actually has a decent shot at JBJ. I said gus had a good shot before the fight because of his handspeed and his footwork. Rumble has the stand up speed advantage and power. If his precision is on that that night he win the fight. Jbj is going to take this to the ground and fast or clinch him up. Rumble with space stalking you he has the power and speed to knock anyone out.
