Vitamin-C Pre Workout?

Question pertaining to hindering oxygen to the muscles and body. Now we all know vitamin c is an anti-oxidant but by doing it doesn't it force the body to pump the muscle with more blood to make sure it gets the oxygen to possibly grow?
