You clearly posted a book on the college's curriculum just based off the title you think is anti-marxist, as if that's the mic-drop against all the overwhelming evidence the college promotes cultural marxism.

And it's interesting a Chinese student objected to it, because such subjects are not taught in China... because they're already communist.
They're subjects meant to divide the population based off of race, sex, sexuality because their purposes is to divide rather than unite.

Not at all surprising this is being taught in a game design university in a western nation, because Marxists love to indoctrinate young and impressionable minds and turn them into zealots.

I don't give a crap what the party is called, I care about how the nation actually functions. It's simply not a communist country. It's state run capitalism. If you were to ask me why they have that name it's because many leaders within the party have studied Marxism-Leninism with the goal of developing many of those aspects. They're still quite far away from achieving those ideals though.

Well, it is relevant in the sense that people usually know more about a place when they actually live there and learn the language and culture. Is it a utopia? Fuck no I left because Xi is an authoritarian prick who was quickly eroding all the progress made by the former leader. Perhaps that’s why I commented in this thread. I’m not taking the side of some bigoted Chinese punk whose home nation lacks basic rights for LGBT individuals. I see the direction America is going in and I don’t want that here too. College courses are for adults. I thought that was the rights argument when it came to CRT they cries about a year ago. If this were a middle school Id probably agree with you that some of this is inappropriate

How is that irrelevant? Living in a country is one of the best ways to destroy myths like that. I also lived in Japan and people would ask me why they sell underwear in vending machines. They don’t. Another one I got while I lived in China was the whole social credit score thing. If they have one it’s secret because the only score people get is a credit score like in the west.

Its about as relevant to the discussion as the fact I was stationed 10 miles away from the DMZ in South Korea, and I traveled to the DMZ on a weekend.
