Are pretty stupid. It's stupid to think you're going to kill zero people if you're getting into street fights all the time with people who are trying to kill you.

I'm watching the new season of Daredevil and I'm starting to think the whole idea of being a vigilante who fights criminals with his fists and never wants to kill is a ridiculous idea. Not wanting to kill if you can help it is one thing, but having a hard-line stance and ragging on vigilantes like Punisher who do kill is hypocritical considering how difficult it would be to not kill at all in the situations you'd have to be in.
Same goes for Batman of course.

If you have to fight hardened criminals who might be trained, have weapons, and fight several of them at the same time, and they have the intent to kill you, you're going to have to hit them hard enough that they can't be a threat to you. There's no way you can do that by guaranteeing they're not going to die or at the very least have serious long-term brain damage. Anybody who knows fighting knows that if someone doesn't get up within a few seconds after getting KOed, there's a serious problem. Some of these criminals are also going to die when they get home from internal bleeding as well.

Yeah I know these are just comic book characters but it's kind of funny how they are so self-righteous about not killing but have no problem with beating people down with blows that could potentially kill. Like a few knees to the face or an elbow to the back of the head is totally harmless. I don't know why Batman doesn't just use like a tazer machine gun if he's that concerned with not killing.

Not as bad as that show arrow where his buddy diggle was shooting people at point blank range but not killing them

This is why The Punisher reigns supreme over all these supposed anti-heroes and vigilantes. He knows a permanent solution works best.

The Jokers crazy ass has killed thousands because of Batman's reluctance to kill.

I love the retarded line heroes like Batman and Captain America always deliver:

"If you kill him, you'll be no better than him!"

Yea, killing the psychotic mass murderer is the same as murdering dozens of innocent people on multiple occasions. The Joker being alive is ridiculous. Even if Batman can't find his balls, at least one cop in that corrupt city would have taken the law into his own hands and shot the Joker in the head and no jury would convict him.

Bounty Hunters are basically vigilantes that dont kill people. They wont hit pay dirt if they did.

Yeah, it doesnt work in reality.

Hot just have to remember comics are trying get to sell their product to impressionable minds.

If the lesson of theit product is most of the time you should kill your enemies, theeere might be some resistance to them selling it.

Han Solo was a cool vigilante because he wouldn’t hesitate to end a life if needed.

Even the Jedi killed.

It is stupid that people get mad at wolverine for killing a mass murderer like Magneto. Never made sense to me

You have given this way too much thought. They are just trying to instill ethical behavior in young people.

It is pretty nonsensical, and annoying. Even as a little kid it used to piss me off.

Drives me kind of crazy too, although someone as smart as Batman should have creative ways to not kill people. Knock out gas and so on. Maybe shoot people in the ankles.

Hell if Batman doesn't want to kill the Joker, fine, just cut off his fucking feet. Asshole can't escape Arkham with no feet.

You know these comic book shows and movies aren’t real, why would you expect any semblance of realism?

It's not really about realism, it's about bizarre logic that automatically triggers a part of your brain and makes it scream "that don't make no sense"

Some parts of shows don't do that, even when they are fantastical.

By saying beating the fuck out of people without due process is cool as long as you don't kill?

I can not fault you there, some movies/shows are so stupid they fail to keep the suspension of belief

Punisher has the worst rouge's gallery of any superhero and it weakens him somehow...

...because he kills them all.

Bats wouldn't be shit without Joker, Penguin and the like...the only reason they are developed baddies is because they live to crime another day and develop stories to flesh them out

Closest Punisher has to a nemisis is Daredevil (a snowflake hero) and Kingpin (a guy who sends his minions)
