The legs kicking out looked more like the continuation of a movement on reflex. If merab was so aware and trying to defend the choke then why was his arm limp at his side opposed to hand fighting/doing anything at all defensive?

This was a terrible call from the judges. This scenery proves why the UFC is fixed and corrupt.
The referee didn’t interfere before the belt. it should have never be judged as a tko.

If this happened in the second round. Let’s say this exact moment was at the end of the second round.
There is no way these ‘judges’ would have declared it a TKO in between round two and three. They would see that he was not there 100%. But after a couple seconds he was fine. He would go to his corner and fight the third round.

No but a player can let go of the ball with .1 seconds left and the ball goes in after the buzzer, it still counts

Same in football, as long as the play starts with time left, a TD can be scored after the time has run out
