VICE Sports - CM Punk Is Training for a Real Fight

Yeah, I seen an interview where they asked him about the transition from wrestling to MMA. He made a comment about taking a hit from a WWE guy and the interviewer sort of said "but this is going to be real" and he got offended.

I think he fails to recognize that yes you may have accidentally been hit by one of the wrestlers, but they aren't trained to throw punches, weren't throwing several follow up punches and were giving you time to recover.

Its insane how he gets so upset about being asked about the transition from wrestling to fighting, its a legitimate question! He acts like people are implying he didn't know what he was in for, but they are just curious, how does the endurance compare, how about level of concentration, or not stopping to roll around pretending your hurt, or dealing with the different training regime, how has his strength transferred over, was it functional or does he feel he can drop a few lbs

being asked the same question over and over and over is extremly annoying im sure most people have been in a situation like that so you should at least have an idea where he is coming from also even you are repeating the obvious any mma fan knows fighters don't give each other time to recover and will continue to throw punches until you drop and the ref stops it

Yes I can definitely understand how monotonous answering questions from the media would be, however these interviews give him free exposure to potential new fans and answering questions would probably be a pleasure compared to a majority of jobs the people work who pay for his merchandise, pay per views and whatever else.

As for the Wrestling thing, yes any MMA fan does know that so when asked how he feels he will be able to handle being hit and his answer is that he won't have a problem because he has taken punches during wrestling matches you can see how the interviewer felt it necessary to point out that the two are substantially different, and for him to get offended by that is a little ridiculous.
