i don't feel the need to root against him. it's more resentment towards the ufc for giving him a spot on the roster / payroll that could be taken by a fighter who deserves it more.Man why am i excited to see this fool smashed?
I feel like a bad person but i just cant help it.
Il probably feel bad after. Lol

At 1:08 it looks like he has a shoulder injury, based on the way he is grimacing.
I feel the same way but only after the way he expects journalists to treat him like an MMA fighter instead of an ex-pro wrestler despite never having an actual fight or even (at the time) having an opponent lined up.Man why am i excited to see this fool smashed?

I've noticed that too. It really seems like he talks down on prowrestling fans the most. If it wasn't for those prowrestling fans he wouldn't be in the UFC based off of that prior fame. He still has a large cult following of prowrestling fans which I don't get. He has abandoned prowrestling all together. He has essentially disowned those fans. He wants to be known now as this serious mma fighter now. Good luck with that. My prediction is he will be one and done after an epic loss. If he comes back after that and still fights in mma. I will be shocked. He's gonna go crawling back to WWE.I feel the same way but only after the way he expects journalists to treat him like an MMA fighter instead of an ex-pro wrestler despite never having an actual fight or even (at the time) having an opponent lined up.
He just seems like an arrogant prick, always giving snide answers and talking down to people.
Yeah, I seen an interview where they asked him about the transition from wrestling to MMA. He made a comment about taking a hit from a WWE guy and the interviewer sort of said "but this is going to be real" and he got offended.I've noticed that too. Those are all good questions. He's been doing pro wrestling for almost 20 years. That's a HUGE part of his life. If CM Punk really had an interest in MMA. He would have dipped his toe in it back in 2006. Back when he was 27 and not 37. I believe there was a time period between the indys like ring of honor and CM Punk ultimately signing with WWE. I think he signed on to the ECW brand of WWE at the time. He could have left 5 years ago in 2011. When he was supposedly unhappy with WWE. He would have been 32. On the cusp of youth but still enough time to train. But no. He didn't. These are good questions to ask him. It just seemed like a spur of the moment type of decision to me. Like he obviously lost his passion for prowrestling and looked for something else to fill the void and MMA was a perfect fit.Yeah, I seen an interview where they asked him about the transition from wrestling to MMA. I think he fails to recognize that yes you may have accidentally been hit by one of the wrestlers, but they aren't trained to throw punches, weren't throwing several follow up punches and were giving you time to recover.
Its insane how he gets so upset about being asked about the transition from wrestling to fighting, its a legitimate question! He acts like people are implying he didn't know what he was in for, but they are just curious, how does the endurance compare, how about level of concentration, or not stopping to roll around pretending your hurt, or dealing with the different training regime, how has his strength transferred over, was it functional or does he feel he can drop a few lbs
Yeah man, apparently he has had like 15 simulated amateur bouts against other beginners and has lost 14 of them. This Micky Gall kid doesn't appear to be a chump, fast, sound grasp on striking, BJJ and wrestling. We haven't seen anything from Punk yet but you hear he works hard, which generally means he sucks. Those are all good questions. He's been doing pro wrestling for almost 20 years.
