You guys are talking about Artem Vakhitov, the former GLORY Light-Heavyweight champion who won a UFC-contract on DWCS last year but instead decided to re-sign with GLORY (he’s the last man to beat Poatan in Kickboxing).

Next month at Collision 8 on December 13, he will participate in a 4-man LHW Tournament. That’s gonna be fun!

Vakhitov is also by far the greatest LHW champion in GLORY history with 5 title defenses.
If GLORY didn't realease him in 2022, wasting 3 years of his prime, he would have 3 more defenses at least.

Tbh, he also won that first Pereira fight as well.

Accepting to fight Rico with such a weight, reach disadvantage, crazy.
Not to mention he went the distance when some real HWs got finished

Can't wait for the next Glory event.
