Usyk knocks Fury spark out and retires him

First time round i could have seen it as a draw. Could well be this time. Usyk deserved the win but there was clearl ly a bias for usyk for those scoring it overwhelmingly in his favor. I think we will see les of that this time round ... and big money wants to keep Fury safe for a square off with Joshua.
There was a knockdown in the fight so the judges arriving at a draw mathematically wasn't on the cards. Just so you know around 1,000 fans already scored the fight on BoxRec and submitted their own unofficial cards. The result was 116-111 Usyk (8 rounds + knockdown). They're not all clearly biased it was just a clear win.

No. There is no way it could be seen like that. Even excluding round 9, Usyk clearly outboxed fury and got the better of the exchanges. Lets no forget Usyk is a cruiserweight and Fury is basically a lanky superheavyweight who has relied on his size and length advantage to yet by thoroughout his career. It showed what happens when hat wize and strength advantage and leaning is neutralized when he basically lost against Ngannou and got put on his ass.

I'm so glad that Warren has stopped with the "best of all time" nonsense now and instead argues for "best of his generation".

As to round 9, if anyone ever asks for the defintion of the phrase "battered from pillar to post" they can be shown that video as a demonstration in action.

well, he isnt the best of his generation either now

You think Fury has a glass jaw when he’s never been knocked out.

You think Fury is weak to body shots when he’s never been hurt by body shots.

What other dumb takes do you have? Tank lacking power? Bud lacking footwork? Inoue lacking speed?

I think fury’s recovery for a heavyweight has to be top 3. Maybe only Ali more durable.

I think we need to move past the Floyd era. Protecting a record is bullshit. Usyk is a warrior (and getting paid millions) to fight fury. He won a close decision and wants to prove he can win again. If he loses it does nothing to his legacy. A loss means nothing. Knowing Usyk he would only come back stronger for the rubber match and knock fury out.

I just hate this idea of retiring to avoid challenges and protecf an undefeated record. I get it, Usyk’s resume is pretty to look at with the “0”
