mine was done one the left knee. I had a torn mcl and a hole with cartilage missing. as for the back, i have heard of people having it done.

A lot of places will test to see if you're a good candidate first with a consultation. The sucky thing is you will pay out of pocket in the states. it was worth it though.

I had to do some intense physical therapy after recovery from it. It took several months. I probably COULD compete again, but don't have time to. Happy to use stairs again.

oh and it hurts like hell. they jam a needle deep on there. it's similar to a surgery but the process is faster.
