International USA Bombs Yemen, Houthis Launch Failed Attack on Harry S. Truman, Houthis Promise "Escalation to Meet Escalation"

Wow, that was a long year!
Just to be clear unless you're thinking I'm doing whataboutism... I disagree with Trump attacking Yemen as well.

The Houthis backed off after the ceasefire. This is being fired back up again, and as you correctly quoted, this is looking like means to ramp up a conflict with Iran.

Look, man this has been done to death.

Did the contractors working on the Death Star deserve to be killed? Did they understand the risk? Should the Rebel Alliance not have attacked it?

Are you fucking questioning Jedi morality?!?
I'm questioning the military strategy of trying to bomb a terrorist group into oblivion, civilian casualties be damned. It's a strategy that has repeatedly failed throughout history.
You mean when they are working or at home or just on the street walking? If they are at work on an installation that supports as in builds military equipment they should know their work place is a target in the time of conflict. That is a clear answer.
Oh, now there is an off the block exception for military contractors in the US, but not for civilians in Yemen? Fascinating logic there...

- Thats would make every person working at a military base a target. The civilian line gets blurred, if americans get attacked is wrong, if people from the middle-east get attacked is fair.

I appreciate every rogue country playing their part to a T in order to get to intermission and start act 2. Very beautifully choreographed.

Pretty much. Everyone is ok with collateral damage when they have nice big oceans protecting the country.
The countries that benefit the most of us policing the world oceans are trade nations like the ones of Europe and China.
This thing with the Houthis only makes sense to combat radical islam terrorism not particularly for economics.

What?

The issue with the Houthis is almost entirely about trade and economy?

It's but not to our favor.
But again this is also a proof of the vulnerability of Europe and China, they can't operate their navies particularly far enough to bomb shitty Yemen.

Policing the world is a nice way of putting it.. you guys are the mafia not the police mate.

Seems the propaganda still works on americans tho
