I am not missing any details and there have been no developments. Her buying your sandwich is not a development.

Update me with the only real development that there could be: You asked her out, she said yes, you went out with her and at least got a kiss. You do that, and that's a development. Anything less is you trying to convince yourself that she is romantically interested in you from non-romantic interactions.

Yes, things are not looking good right now. I felt like she treated me like a customer yesterday.

She did something with the prolonged direct eye contact and the smile but she might have just enjoyed the attention. I don't know. All I know is that yesterday I felt like her customer even though she bought me a sandwich. It is what it is. I'll be fine.
