Cannonier had some UFC jitters, well that what I believe.. hope to see a better 2nd fight out of him

man, i really believe Cannonier had some UFC jitters :/

It sucks that he lost, he was doing well until, well, he got KO'd. :P

He kept going in too close with Jordan despite his reach advantage, his successful strikes came from the outside. If he used his footwork to stick to the outside and fought the fight at range instead of getting in close on Jordan, he would have been better off.

We'll see how he does anyways, perhaps give him Walt Harris for a loser goes home fight, or Omielańczuk, or even Hamilton.

Paul L thanks for the top 20 US list!!

question, why is Dakota Merrit ranked so high in there? with only 1 fight. he have an extensive ammy background?

Just a really athletic dude. I usually value athleticism in the HW division very highly since it's often the "wild card" that makes good HW fighters great HW fighters. In lower weight classes it's more common, for example there's lots and lots of athletic guys at WW and below, but HW it becomes a defining trait that few possess.

According to Tony Johnson's twitter, he may have signed with the UFC. Waiting on an official word this time around though.

Paul how come you have Mulheron highly ranked rather than just a mention. I was not impressed when he fought Neil Wain. Could have been an off night or Neil is a tough customer.

Activity and level of competition, but yeah he looks sloppy, although it's one of those Kenny Garner situations where he looks like garbage when he fights but somehow keeps winning against the best guys in the region.

Yeh I do see potential he can definitely throw down but so can many Heavyweights. I think he just needs t work on his cardio.

When Smoldarev fought Ibragim Ibragimov I felt Ibragim almost had his number. I see some raw talent there and perhaps he would be better fighting Nth American talent. Although it goes against modern thinking I dont think the Chechens and Dagestanis when it comes to fighting against Russians in the Heavyweight class can overcome them. There is some raw talent from that region that should avoid Slavs at the start of their career...The opposite could be said in some of the lower weight classes..

looks like Bryc Palmer has an opponent set

http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Bryc-Palmer-31041

hes fighting a tough dude, sherdog has him at 1-0 but they are missing a fight he should be listed at 2-0. Kid might have a slight boxing edge over Palmer, should be fun since Palmer likes to stand and trade as well.

Awesome, looking forward to his long awaited return. Palmer has some crazy power in his punches, so I'll place my bets on a big KO.

Tony Johnson has been removed from the OneFC roster and website. Curiouser and curiouser.

What happened to Duke Didier?

He's been focusing on Judo competition currently. He'll be back in MMA eventually I assume, he just has other priorities with his Judo career.
