Unsigned Heavyweights - Thread Three

So that win for Ruben Wolf takes him to 10-6 or 8-2 if you cancel out the badly advised cutting to LHW fights.

Also Monson got another win yesterday against 7-3 Alexandr Stolyarov.

Wolf didn't look all that bad. Tentative, but once he opened up more the fight ended.

Michal Andryszak(12-5) - Lew Polley(12-5)

Mostly one side beating, but questionable stoppage. Though Lew Polley's face was busted up

Alex Sandry Modelli(8-3) - Salimgirey Rasulov(11-6)

Wild brawl, fighters were exhausted after one round, and Brazilian was tired more.

Andryszak drives me crazy sometimes. He'll look awesome one fight, then lose to a journeyman or prospect in devastating fashion the next. Hope he can find some consistency eventually.

Also I'm surprised Rasulov didn't finish the fight sooner. Brazillian HW's outside the UFC and Bellator aren't on the same level as the HW's from Russia.

There's Amir Aliakbari out of AKA Thailand. World champion wrestler. Is 0-0, they can't find him a fight for his debut. Was thinking Mocco would maybe be a good choice if he's still fighting.

May be his chin is weak. Erokhin punch was huge, but Cutelaba dropped him too, and i don't remember Wlodarek knockout. Similar to ufc Matt Van Buren, who has great anthropometry but can't take a punch.

Agreed with superior russian talents at HW. As for Rasulov i was surprised he was able to survive first storm and wanted win more. Because he quit against Graham and it seemed his career is over.

sorry if a double post but tim hauge vs 6-0 tanner doser. What do u know about him? march 20
also march 28th Jeremy horn vs tony lopez

Other notes:

Allen Crowder defeats William Baptiste by TKO, moving Crowder to 5-0 and making his next fight versus Curtis Blaydes all the more interesting.

JR Lugo defeats Josh Appelt by TKO in round 1.

Monson north-south chokes Alexander Stolyarov.

Also after further research, it looks like Duke Didier came into his recent fight at 210 pounds, and is moving to LHW. I can't find out who he fought still though.

Boser is solid. If his chin holds up he should be fine versus Hague, Hague's power is the only worry in a fight at this point.

Yeah he's going to have massive, massive potential as long as he stays clean in MMA.

I'd probably go with Yusuke Kawaguchi over Mocco as a debut fight though, Mocco might be a bit much as a first time opponent.

Jarjis Danho defeated Marcus Vantinnen 2nd round KO
Dave Mitchell defeated Dave Huckaba via 2nd round sub

Mitchell is on a really impressive streak.
