Some good fights this weekend, nice.

Romanov interests me simply because his base style is Sumo - it's quite a 'throwback'/PRIDE type thing but he's pretty good too!

LFA Results:

Brett Martin climbs to 9-1 with another DQ win - Daniel James was DQ'd for illegal knees and falls to 9-4.

Chad Johnson scores an upset and climbs to 6-1, with a first round TKO/KO of Calyn Hull (6-2 now). That most likely ends Hull's hopes of making the big leagues IMO - he's been finished whenever he steps up a level and isn't particularly young. His best bet is winning a fight and sneaking on DWCS, hoping he KO's someone in the 1st, haha.

Does anyone know if Romanov's loss is legit? Sherdog doesn't have it and it came 5 years before his second fight. Could be someone else with his the same name.

Dunno but it is quite common with European fighters, for losses to appear from eons ago. Probably because these promotions in Moldova, Romania and so forth aren't exactly being monitored by sites like Tapology and certainly not back in say 2005 or something.

Another update - UK heavyweight Tom Aspinall climbs to 7-2 with an easy win over some rookie HW.

probably not, Alexander Romanov strikes me as a common name in Eastern Europe too.

Fuck me, Richard 'Rare Breed' fucking Hale?!

I remember that guy fucking shit up in the very early days of Bellator, 205lbs!

Seems like the UFC let go of Aliakbari and Azamat Murkanov
Several of the other fighters have fights scheduled elsewhere, no idea if the list is accurate

Fuck me, imagine Jeremy Kennedy (145lbs) vs. Aleks Emelianenko!

Where are you getting Aliakbari from here, mate? He isn't listed for that tournament??

Murzakanov pissed hot before his debut, obviously told the UFC he's staying on the sauce so they cut him loose. Which makes me wonder about Aliakbari to be honest - it wouldn't be surprising given his history.

Click the image, Amir is listed right below Cole.

Rashad Coulter and Alex Garcia are also part of it. Considering he got sparked his last time out, Alex is probably going to die.
