A fighter being a bit arrogant. Let's call the cops.
With his current streak he has all the rights to be arrogant.

Exactly, you don't need to be cocky but you have to have at least a smidge of arrogance. If you don't believe you're the best you won't be.Nearly every champion is a bit arrogant. It's practically a prerequisite to making it that far.
Nope. You are on board with the new flavor of the month. Nothing wrong with that. But just be consistent.Lol you're a goof. I'm a fan of the sport and give credit to ALL fighters where it'd due. All because I'm an Islam fan (because I love the way he fights and recognize his talent) doesn't mean I dislike other fighters like Charles.
"Be genuine" says the guy that resorts to ignorant stereotypes.
I've never heard Islam talk about himself in 3rd person.... Or call himself "enlightened".
If you have, please share link.
Islam just says things like "I will take him down and smash him".
Typical Dagi interview answers.
Well that's not being stereotypical. All brazilian fighters are at least "a bit" arrogant . Their "humbleness" is usually fake.
I dont really consider anything either islam or Charles have said to be arrogant. It's competition, they're both competitive and just hyping themselves up.
I don't think I want to hear that " the champion has a name " catchphrase anymore though.
didnt islams team said something like he will ride him like a horse?I like Charles a lot but he's a shown different side of his during this camp. A more arrogant one, as TS put it. He's been doing all the trash talk, whereas Islam has been nothing but respectful.
Truthfully, I don't have a problem with Charles talking trash. He's earned the right to do so as a champ but I wonder if him being arrogant means whether he's super confident he'll get the job done against Islam on Saturday OR whether it means he's nervous...
Guess we'll find out.
Former* champion
Think it probably has to do with people constantly mentioning how he will 'break' and stuff like that. He's also the underdog. I think after finishing multiple guys who were suppose to make him 'break' and then hearing it again is getting tiresome for him. Constantly being seen as the underdog too I think or at least by many.
No different than Islam or Khabib. They're confident. Who cares

islam is anything but respectful to charles
