@The Legendary Scarface you can leave the "unpopular opinion" out of the title mate, we already know whenever you make a thread.

Nah, I give Charles a 60/40 chance at winningDouble down then kiddo
I got Islam.
3 month AV bet.
Scared.Nah, I give Charles a 60/40 chance at winning
Not a smart bet
There's always risk in betting, it's gambling. It would be silly to bet without fear of losing.Scared.
That's fair. I'm favoring Islam 60/40 as well so I feel you. There's always risk in betting, it's gambling. It would be silly to bet without fear of losing.
maybe cause you dont how very poor people from religious places in Brazil think. After all his life struggles, hes at a place no one would even imagine him to be, maybe not even himself. So yeah hes pretty confident at this point. Will he lose at some point? for sure. Not to Islam IMHO. I expect Charles to hurt him on the stand up and either get a TKO or a sub. If not a knee to the face in as Aldo xI mean he's made it a consistent thing to refer to himself in 3rd person. It's just weird now.
Also, he just called himself "enlightened" in an interview after his open workout. Lmfaoo. .
Charles is drinking his own kool aid a bit too much lately...
Fighting with reckless abandon, like he is invincible, when he almost died in every title fight.
We know how these things end and how the lesson gets learned.

I like Charles a lot but he's a shown different side of his during this camp. A more arrogant one, as TS put it. He's been doing all the trash talk, whereas Islam has been nothing but respectful.
Truthfully, I don't have a problem with Charles talking trash. He's earned the right to do so as a champ but I wonder if him being arrogant means whether he's super confident he'll get the job done against Islam on Saturday OR whether it means he's nervous...
Guess we'll find out.
Him saying that doesn't have anything to do with arrogance. He is a believer as much as Islam, what changes is only their religion (I mean, maybe Islam is levels above lol, but ok). He doesn't say that to sound arrogant at all, but he believes God bless him to make him a good fighter and champ, that God helps him when he needs.
You need a huge strength to think like that. At the same time, Islam team since the beginning talked shit for free about Charles and you say nothing. I mean, you are just pushing it too much, not to say extremely exaggerated.
He probably also realizes trash talk sells more fights. He’s an exciting fighter but people would rather tune into a boring trash talk we vs an exiting quiet guy.I like Charles a lot but he's a shown different side of his during this camp. He has this Silva-like arrogance about him. Even his "sportsmanlike" behavior seems arrogant when looked at closely. Like when he went over to Gaethje's corner to shake their hands but kinda disregards Gaethje himself. It reminds me of when Silva would approach an opponent as though for a handshake and bow instead.I mean he's made it a consistent thing to refer to himself in 3rd person. It's just weird now.
