It's interesting that you can attach these labels so stubbornly yet managed to miss a very important turn of events in the conflict. This brings into question exactly what insight you have on the situation beyond RT.com and high school history.

First of all there is a big difference between a protester and a separatist.

Protests (peacefull or not) was under the Ukrainian flag, people were chanting Ukraine and the revolution that took place was for the sake of the future of Ukraine.

I'm certain that if a group of Ukrainian-speaking Russians seized some government buildings in Moscow and demanded that Putin hand the city over to Ukraine, Putin would show MUCH more restraint than the current Ukrainian government.

If protesters began to seize government buildings in Russia they would be wrong, here they aren't. They are taking back buildings from an illegitimate government.

Most of them speak with russian accent. Judging the way soldiers acted in Chechnya they are not very trained. They are not locals (where have you heard term porebrik used in Ukraine?) and army surplus don't have such outfits, although Putin would aprove this theory about outfits bought in the local army shops (heard that before).

As for Putins hands it's a trick that russia likes to play. Nothing will ever slip from his hands, don't be naive. Next move will be the good guys will enter the scene and save the world. Old fucking tricks on his behalf.
