Underrated/Overrated Films

Haa. @Air Lats would appreciate that.

I have seen it but I don't understand it.

Keep watching it over and over again until it clicks. You'll know it when it does.

BTW who's @Air Lats

Yeah, the second one was actually way too unrealistic... Three dimension rooms turning into a single dimension, people seeing visions of themselves etc... Its probably a better idea to start from the first one :)

I saw it when I was 12 on Sci-fi channel. Haaa. I will definitely check it out. How's the 3rd?

Sometimes good movies have bad trailers. Goldeneye had a bad trailer but it was a good movie.

I fucking love Goldeneye. Played the shit out of it on the N64 (which I still have to this day). I rewatched the movie less than two years ago and was surprised at how campy some of the action sequences looked (mostly the beginning sequence with Bond chasing an airplane off a runway on a motorcycle), but the movie has aged remarkably well.

That and I wanted to bury my dick in Xenia Onatopp so bad haha.

I am about to drop a bomb on you guys.

SUPREMELY OVERRATED

2nd and 3rd are both good if you are a hardcore fan of the genre(mystery-thriller), but its probably the best to start off from the first one. I enjoyed that one the most.

Never seen the Shining but I agree with 2001. It was visually beautiful, but the story left a lot to be desired. Particularly the weird, dream-like sequence at the end.

Ha, I'll make sure to never watch those :D

Honestly watch it. I want to know what others think about it. Maybe it's because I was born when they were made and when I watched it, it was out of context but I thought they were so boring.

I knew 2001 is a visual achievement in Cinema but it also a movie I felt Kubrick just wanted to show off.

The Shining was just kind of dull and that's all I can say. Haa

Onatopp was the woman responsible for giving me my first sexual urges as a child. I didn't what sex was at the time but I knew I wanted her so bad. Haa

I'm here, buddeh!

Yeah, really cool viking art movie!

Basically, Mads can do no wrong.

A bold statement with Pulp Fiction. Haa

Yeah. I liked it. I just don't think it deserves all of the accolades it gets. I like The Departed significantly more than Pulp Fiction and I think it gets a little less fanfare.

The Departed is definitely a good movie. Have you seen Infernal Affairs?
