He fought a decent fight, got a loss, Arman T. pulled out of his fight for injury (some say thats a BS excuse and he missed weight) and while he avoided the Loss he is getting sent to the back of the line according to Dana, no way he gets another title shot soon, Umar probably gets a fight and then fights again for the belt. The plot thickens
might be a fucked if u do fucked if u don’t situation
I feel for the guy, knowing this
Thx
Umar will be back. It's just a matter of going back to the drawing board and working on the wrestling and cardio. He can start knocking off other contenders and earn his rematch.
рука means both. It's super common for Russians to use hand and arm interchangeably. Is there a source? All I remember is an ‘arm injury’ in the lead up. His English is good enough to discern between arm or hand specifically I’d assume at least, so it doesn’t seem totally clear whether it’s a recurring injury or not. Anybody have some specifics to share?
Yeah another dude said the same and talked about his Russian speaking gf using it which was kinda funny. Would like to know specifically, but def makes more sense to be talking about training with a fractured hand vs fractured armрука means both. Yeah, that's what I assumed he meant when he initially said he had a "fractured arm" from throwing a punch in training. A bunch of people were also saying it was bad advice for Khabib to tell him to wrestle when he was getting tired, and I figured it was to initiate himself to keep Merab from spamming shots, but now it was likely to cover up for not being able to tighten his fist on his dominant hand.Yeah another dude said the same and talked about his Russian speaking gf using it which was kinda funny. Super close 48-47 fight that literally came down to the last 2 mins of the fight …. “Umar got wrecked”if Merab broke his hand after getting wrecked by Umar nobody would give a shit. but hey i'll contribute to the solace, here it goes, "what a warrior! to fight 20 minutes with a broken hand vs a guy who many people say cannot do any damage or even hurt you is incredible! absolute bravery by the Mountain warrior! he's for sure the uncrowned BW champion! i thought he won all 5 rds personally! how can you lose any rds to someone who cannot do any damage!"
Also need to generate power to really prevent Merab from coming forward, he has one hell of a chin.umar legs and hips are too weak, he should work on boxing only, best way to beat merab is to knock him out

what khabib said in russian in regards to wrestling is misunderstood. He said to wrestle for every inch, which in russian has a secondary meaning is to fight for every inch. Translation just coudn't pick up on that correctly. Khabib actually after round 3 said only to box once he saw how tired Umar was. Khabib was also giving him instructions in the local Avari language, which I unfortunately do not understand, but the russian tidbits I heard perfectly well.Yeah, that's what I assumed he meant when he initially said he had a "fractured arm" from throwing a punch in training. You losers have had such a hard on for a Nurmagomedov loss for so many years that when it finally arrives it has to be embellished to compensate for the multi-year drought lol.

Nice, mine has commercials between rounds, so I didn't actually see what either of their corners said, but several posters were going on about it in the threads the next day.what khabib said in russian in regards to wrestling is misunderstood.
