I can’t stand Merab , but can’t call him a duck ….clearly some fights he would’ve preferred, but he is fighting who he should

Jones may eventually sign a contract to fight Aspinall when it finally gets offered to him. Does that mean all of the alleged ducking should just be forgotten?
Good point. Although I am inclined to give credit when they do step up and finally sign, but just because they were pressured into doing the right thing doesn't negate what they actually were to begin with, the sanctimonious dragging that they did, or what they would continue to be had they not got called out for it.

It was an attempted duck, and that will always be mentioned when Merabs name comes up. Thank God he doesn’t have the juice of Jon Jones and the UFC forced his hand. If he had that kind of leverage he wouldn’t have taken this fight.

If he wanted to or not is irrelevant, he sign the fight, and how could he be ducking if the fight was never offered until that moment?

He tried everything to get out of it. Asked for Sean rematch in November, asked for Figgy before he lost,then asked for Yan and was always screaming how Umar didnt deserve it. He also asked suddenly to fight in march since he knew Umar couldnt in march.
The UFC forced him, he did everything he could to duck. But it was prob a "you either fight or we strip you" kinda conversation.

I was today years old when I found out this fight was official for UFC 311. This should be a good hump fest, I’m excited for some humping and pillow fisting
