Ah yes, in term of categorizing things he didn't take into account overlap in his wording in that sentence when making his point.

I've seen him go deeper into this topic so I am not confused as to what he means, but sure I think that is a valid criticism of that wording.

That can't be read into what he actually wrote, though, because in each instance he presents them as exclusive possibilities. Things are made for a political purpose as opposed to (rather than) being made to explore and create. If they are in the first category, they are propaganda, not art.

And this is without touching his implicit gatekeeping on what makes something art.

I'm open to the idea that he knew better (per the video IDL linked) and this was poorly worded and not the result of careful thought, but that's the crux of the criticism in question.

I really can't wrap my mind around the criticism of Peterson. The guy is so well spoken and logical and doesn't even really attack anyone. The hate for him just feels so strange, it's never even directed towards what he actually even says. It's either the way he says it or the fact that people take him too seriously.

The other big criticism of Dr. Peterson is that he makes money from Patreon and YouTube. How Terrible! It is the left that would crucify Jesus if he returned.

Peterson is like Metallica's Black Album. It is a good album, but haters hate it because it went mainstream. I believe it is the top selling album in the United States.

I never called you a moron I was just going on your statement about smashing pussy and i dont disagree that a lot of revolutionaries are people looking for a movement to hide their shortcomings and support their bad habits. most skinheads back when were just fools wanted to drink and fight, most straight edges were kids never got invited to party , most feminists insane chicks no one wanted to date , and so on and so on

Honestly, I think even a considerable amount of Peterson's followers know that he's pandering to them because he likes the following.

It's whatever. Good for them. It's their first guy who they can argue is an intellectual, so it probably feels good feeling smart. Maybe someday a bona fide intellectual titan will get into a car collision or fall from a 5 story window and can then give them another.

If you don't mind, why was the movie bad? As far as I could tell it was a pretty good disney-princess movies. I get that it had serious production issues, but everyone is taking it as a given that the product was also bad and I'm a little baffled because I don't remember anything terrible about it. Mostly I remember hearing the soundtrack everywhere for a year afterwards.
