UFN 101 - Whittaker vs Brunson - Australia

It's amazing how some people can go on like that for several pages arguing about one of the most irrelevant fights on one of the most irrelevant cards of the year. You'd also think the fact that they expect the fight to be super close and possibly a split decision would make it redundant for betting opportunities (apart from maybe the overs).

You don't have to bet on every single fight on the card folks, you can leave it alone if you're not sure.
Hooker vs Knight is the best fight on the card besides the ME.

I will if I'm single otherwise that's not ever happening if I value having balls attached to my dink

Fuck it take the broad. I do it and ditch her at the hotel and go do jiu-jitsu at drysdales, Cobra Kai, or Vinny's school, and go gamble.

@Sillyfruit
cool it with antagonistic behavior

@Brick Top
we get it, you like knight.

a couple hours on a wednesday of fight week, 100 posts of you guys... hehe.

take a moment to breathe!

I actually get better lines when I shop the books in Vegas. I usually hit William Hill at stateline(gold mine). They will take a 20k bet no problem. I then hit the M on the way into Vegas. Ok book. Nothing special. Then I go into Westgate. This is the thing. Westgate usually has sub par prices. But is uber popular none the less.

Also hitting the home book of a card. MGM for instance is worth it. They up their limits drastically.

Catching a boxing opener at a book(usually MGM is great)

Man I need to go there.

I usually go to southpoint off the strip as there's less traffic but last time I went there was so much construction.

Westgate is nice too. The atmosphere is great on football Sunday but lines get crazy.

Where do you go watch the fights on PPV?

In regards to NinjaCats post

We're allowed to discuss fights even if you're not definitely betting on them, discussing fights is often how I come about deciding what I'm going to bet on. People coming in all high and mighty for people talking about fights. I picked Hooker on my breakdown, I didn't say I was betting on him, just made my points why I think he'll win.

Anyway, I'll likely play Over 2.5 rounds in that fight, can't see either guy getting put away.

I'll throw some on old man Kelly to beat Camozzi too but I feel it'll be a split somehow for either guy. The o1.5 will probably be safer.

how do you see kelly winning here? you think he goes for some timely takedowns?

Here's westgate. It's awesome looking. Smells like cigarettes like all of vegas... Naturally

You're selling me but I can't do it remembering how pissed off I was with him. Are you The Dawg?
I hear ya but I think Tuck should should have an easy time with someone like Damien Brown, there is a massive gap in skill. I'm surprised the odds are where they are. And yes I am the Dawg.

Yeah but if I do that Tyrone and Jamal will run a train on her behind my back

Good to see a likeminded Gamblou disciple posting again

I think Camozzi is prideful with his clinch game and it'll definitely hit the clinch in this fight.

Camozzi will obviously own the range and maybe moreso since they're both southpaws.

Man we've gotta get lucky (assuming you're on Kelly too) and hope Kelly lands a judo trip and spends his time on top. Otherwise he's getting socked up and elbowed up if he can't get it down.

The price of +205 is good enough for me to take a chance at dad bod Kelly. Camozzi is as good as he's gonna get and he's not world beater.

On another note, I think Steve Montgomery was a similar body type and build with a southpaw stance. Kelly was getting busted up at times by that dude but was able to grab the clinch and land trips. Will be a dog fight I presume.

Not trying to sound like a dick (promise) but we'll see if he's improved in real fights. I bet Uriah Hall is a beast in the gym.

I've never seen Uriah Hall train but I've seen a some really good fighters train and generally have a pretty good feel.

Do you know much about alex v?

Love the Hulk. He's super tough, trained at Tiger a long time and actually expected him in the UFC a couple of years ago. He has great stand up and is good on the ground. I expect him to win this fight.

I can also get that on a single fight online. But I'm not liking the prospect of withdrawing 10s of thousands of dollars. I've been burned online before
You're saying you've won big but they've refused to pay out? This is my big fear with online bookies, they seem ok with smaller amounts but I've no experience winning tens of thousands.

Best fights:

Brunson/Whittaker
Nguyen/Herrera***
Hooker/Knight

I think all 3 are shoe-ins for FOTN with a slight mention of the chick fight since they're probably gonna brawl it out too. My vote goes to Nguyen/Herrera.

I'm not sure Nguyen Herrera lasts
Long enough to be fight of the night.
