These guys don't want to fight. They want to post and get sponsors and talk about moving weight classes. This is bad for UFC, they need guys willing to actually fight and defend their title. They don't need guys looking to move to boxing, talking about changing weight classes, wanting to squat belts and ranks and collect appearance checks outside the org.

Its time to wipe the slate clean for the Paramount era and get rid of these dudes.

Him, Merab, and I believe Izzy are the only fighters to have 4 title fights in 365 days in the last decade.
His 6 months off between Ank fights is the longest period of inactivity he's had, which again came after 4 fights inside a year.
He was KO'd by Izzy then moved up to fight Jan two months later.
I kind of get where OP is going with this, but leave Poatan out of it. Last of the Mohicans when it comes to exciting fighters whose every fight I'll watch guaranteed.

Jones is already retired and will confirm it once he is not fighting at the white house (or after he fights at the white house by some miracle, hopefully not) and they are dealing with Topturo by creating an interim title.
Even though I think the interim should have been Paddy vs Arman, it's still "moving the division along".

Honestly, it's kind of true. Since people can make money solely on social media luck, that's their #1 goal, and then fighting in the UFC is just for optics and for gimme-title-fights and "super fights" that don't make sense at all. Taking the Jake Paul route of lopsided fights and nothing contender related, just social media optics.
