The problem with that logic is that by following it, the UFC would have a roster of about 12 dudes.

If you follow the logic of 'best guys stay in the company', there are about 100 people who need a pink slip before this guy gets his.
 
That is such bs. The UFC should not be allowed to cut guys ranked in their Top 10 rankings.
 
Yea that's kinda weird.. It has to be a financial thing (unless there's something we don't know about), or possibly a better deal for Okami overseas and he left on good terms (big stretch)?

If it is because of the check beside his name then that's pretty shitty. I don't know if Jacare was the final fight on his contract, but it's sad to see him go, especially when he's wond 3 of his last 4.

The UFC is a promotional company. They exist to make money. If they didn't think they were getting good returns from his contract, of course they're going to cut him. It shows some of the faults with only having one serious promotion, though.
 
One of the worst UFC cuts ever.

Cheap pieces of shit, they only cut him because his salary is high after so many UFC wins. Cut fucking Bisping while you're at it.

It's not like they are paying him a ridiculous amount of money. He is a legit top 10 fighter and for that reason alone the UFC should be interested in keeping him. He pretty much has only lost to the best.

I for one will be following Okami's fights outside of the UFC and I'm sure many on here will as well. I never think "Fuck yeah a Yushin Okami fight is next!" but he is a legit high level fighter and has always been a realyl classy guy.

WoW he lost 1 fight and they release him, that is some BS, he is like the best asian fighter they have and was another contender in the mw division.

UFC really has their heads up their asses most of the time.
