UFC releases Yushin Okami

never liked okami,but at an odd release indeed
maybe a money thing?
 
A lot of people will complain about this but he is like Fitch and no one remembers Fitch anymore or doesn't talk about him anymore. It'll be the same with Okami, boring ass fighter but can beat most of the top guys in the world. Seems he has reached his pinnacle in UFC. Maybe he can be a champ in Bellator.

The cycle continues. Shitstorm over a fighter being cut, fighter goes to another organization, gets violently put to sleep at said organization, :eek: ensue.
 
DANG! Dude has been on a winning streak for a while there. Only people he has lost to are top fighters in the division.

Has UFC or Okami confirmed it? MMAFighting hasn't written anything about it either.
 
I guess the Fitch situation was no anomaly. If you've been fighting(winning) in the UFC for years, but have never been exciting enough to be a draw, you're getting the axe as soon as you start losing.
 
Wow, that's surprising seeing as how he has been with the UFC for 7 years and just lost to a very tough opponent.
