UFC Pulls Huge Ratings Again: 1.356 million for UFN 73

Oh dear Lord. The Gregor dipshits are now saying he's responsible for this. You guys need to stop sucking so much flaccid d*ck.

These are pretty much overall the same numbers Fight Nights have always produced plus the fact that OSP is a local celebrity certainly helped in the drawings.

I swear most of you will just inject your won interpretation to support your biased views and won't use common sense.

Conor and Ronda bless.

OP says it had "huge ratings", then quotes the following:

"It was the sixth-biggest Fight Night audience in the history of the two-year-old station..."

So basically, it was one of the lowest rated Fight Night's ever.

Even with the weak card and non-dynamic personalities of Glover/OSP, UFC Fight Night 73 reached almost 1.4 million viewers, and averaged 1.159 million.

From the article:

"...Saturday's main card, headlined by a light heavyweight battle of top contenders, where Glover Teixeira finished Ovince Saint Preux in the third round, airing from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET on FS 1, did 1,159,000 viewers. It was the sixth-biggest Fight Night audience in the history of the two-year-old station.... The audience grew throughout the night, peaking between 12:45 a.m. to 1 a.m. ET, for the finish and post-match of the main event, which did 1,356,000 viewers....."

in 2009-2010 no one calls a number like that HUGE. The decline is real

in 2009-2010 no one calls a number like that HUGE. The decline is real

UFC 2010: 8 tv events (2 of those events were on Versus which had under 1 mil viewers with Jones, JDS, Nelson, Gomi, Vera, Kongo, Okami, Munoz, Griffin on the cards)

UFC 2015: 22 tv events

2015 is their best year in years
Every sport & business has high points
They might not ever get back to the Brock-era numbers & they might, but to say UFC is on a decline when numbers are going up is just plain dumb

Since when is 1.4 mill huge ratings? Sarcasm? That's shit ratings.

That's on FS1 almost no one I know even knows that channel exists. Its not bad rating when you realize how small the viewership FS1 is for a network backed by Fox. This is not Spike or ESPN so getting in the millions regularly is a pretty big deal.
