Even with the weak card and non-dynamic personalities of Glover/OSP, UFC Fight Night 73 reached almost 1.4 million viewers, and averaged 1.159 million.

http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/8/1...ness-run-continues-with-saturdays-fight-night

From the article:

"...Saturday's main card, headlined by a light heavyweight battle of top contenders, where Glover Teixeira finished Ovince Saint Preux in the third round, airing from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET on FS 1, did 1,159,000 viewers. It was the sixth-biggest Fight Night audience in the history of the two-year-old station.... The audience grew throughout the night, peaking between 12:45 a.m. to 1 a.m. ET, for the finish and post-match of the main event, which did 1,356,000 viewers....."

That Rousey mainstream awareness spill-over.

Both Ronda and Conors fights have been recently.

They've obviously got new people into the sport.

Meltzer being paid off by Dana again to fudge numbers

Since when is 1.4 mill huge ratings? Sarcasm? That's shit ratings.

Too bad they got to see a bad decision and a terrible stoppage in two of the biggest fights.

If they start averaging 2 million views on fs1 I see the remaining cards being ufc on fox.

numbers verified on TVbythenumbers.com (Zap2it), which posts ratings for the top 30 cable shows each night.

Meltzer had nothing to do with those, crybaby.
