Nope. Effective damage is lacerations, brushing or visible swelling.
If no damage occurs it's assessed as impact which is defined as visible reactions to strikes like backing up, getting dropped or similar.

Defence doesn't score in MMA.It's considered it's own reward. It's all about who lands the bigger more effective fight ending offence. Caceres clearly did that much more in round 2-3. Woodson won a boxing match, he didn't win an MMA fight.

Learn the sport criteria. You are using boxing criteria.
