UFC On ESPN 12: Poirier vs. Hooker

green vs villante under 2.5 x 1.75. me likey
How do you see a finish? I can't see Villante getting one. Greene possibly, I was thinking his best shot would be with a sub but just noticed that Villante has never been subbed.

What you guys thinking about Lins vs Boser? How do you see the fight going?

Anyone have any thoughts (legit thoughts) on Zalal vs Griffin? Zalal has the ability to be very good but his level of competition is shit. He seems like he can mix in TDs and has very crisp striking.

Griffin hasnt really beaten anyone either but he has fought some of the better fights, (Archuleta and Ige stand out to me).

Griffin also makes fucked up decisions in the octagon and I could see Youssef just out pointing him all day
im not putting money on it, but youssef has a legit shot here.

Maurice fights like a j..ass sometimes. Has big reach advantage but barely uses it. Plus his gas tank could be as bad as Villante's but I don't think I can trust Villante at HW he might be even slower there.. favoring Greene but Villante could just walk this dude down. Weird fight.
man, i know it seems counterintuitive at times, but it seems that going up in weight class gives fighters an increase in "agility" . u would think the extra weight slows them down , but the reality is them not having to cut weight gives them more gas overall. calvillo is a great example as she would gas in 3 rounders, while she looked great vs eye in 5er. i hate these odds as maurice sucks imo.. but i could see the judges give him the nod for slobbering a wall and stall decision over villante.

Allen + Pena
i really like allen here, but one of my strats is not to put money against undefeated fighters..
what? u think hooker wins this one? it would really have to be a shitty judges decision for that to happen imo. i had money on him vs felder, not because i thought he was better than felder, but bc i knew the judges wouldnt let him lose. not this time

It's not about who I think will win, it's how confident I am in it. Poirier is coming off a surgery, a title loss and he has a height disadvantage. The grappling is also tough to call. I think Dustin wins it, but it's far from a lock.

also im not convined perry wins this one. gall is crafty, and perry is pretty dumb.

That line is way too much in Perry's favor. Gall could for sure win, I have been thinking of throwing 10 bucks on him or Kyle Nelson just to see if they pull the upset

Well I hope Allen wins cuz Im gonna have him in 5 of my 10 1.5* fanduel lineups hopefully he dont screw me over like camacho did lol

small cage, villante moving up to heavyweight. I think people underestimate how big the difference is between heavyweight and light heavyweight. Heavyweights are huge, especially Greene, look at how scared ovince saint preux was vs rothwell. So i think a KO by Greene is most likely, but I am sure Villante will throw some haymakers in the first round which could catch Greene too.

I see lins by KO in the 2nd
im actually playing go the distance x 1.6. Cyril Gane couldnt finish Boser I doubt Lins can. Boser has only been KO'd once in 23 fights. He lost 5 times by decision.

boring fight between 2 relatively pillow fisted counterstrikers, I expect something similar like the arlovski lins fight.

Thats what everyone is saying but looking at it now my bet will 90% be just lins since hes currently -115 I dont do props unless its a hedge bet and if any of my parlays are alive come that point in the fight I will hedge with whoever I dont need in the parlay since fight wont start rd 3 is prob gonna be like +160 so ill most likely just take lins

Anyone like Brahimaj? Just watched his fight with Patterson. Patterson was much more physically stronger and was a bad matchup for him. Belal was able to duck under and get takedowns vs Sato and I think Brahimaj can do the same. Sato gives up the back fairly easy.

edit
Brahimaj is submission over position and loses position a lot but I think he can get away with it here. Took a shot at him at +135
