UFC On ESPN 12: Poirier vs. Hooker

'
you guys doing another video this week?
Not for this card. @Rebel_LioN is busy running his business this week, but we'll be back for UFC 251 for sure.

If you or any else is planning to visit Vegas soon, then I will be there for the next four UFC cards. I think Rebel will be in Vegas for the UFC 251 card. @mposhtkouhi lives in Vegas.

UFC have applied to the NSAC for 9 dates in August for Vegas events. Busy period there! Crowds likely in that period?

nice, I was gonna go next week just for a quick trip but I'm not liking the whole gotta wear a mask everywhere thing,,wait for a better time..anyway, are you willing to bestow upon us any of your knowledge on this card? what would you say is your favorite 2 or 3 bets so far?

So the fight Mara Romero Borella vs Miranda Maverick has being cancnneled? to bad i was lookking forward to it and saw some tapes for it oh well. I was actually going to bet on Borella.

was thinkin bout a bet on her too,,Maverick not ITD was -160 or something like that which I would've bet big on

Wanted to like Zalal, but watching tape I can see Griffin KO at 10.0 being value

Griffin is an idiot and has a speed disadvantage, but he also has the power edge (knockdown v Maurice Mitchell on DWTS) and Zalal is SUPER hittable. Griffin also appears to have better wrestling, and because of Zalal's solid sub game I'm wondering if maybe Griffin just says fuck it and unloads

Zalal is also kind of weak in his hands and relies on kicks and Cruz-isms a ton, which is cool but like... Small cage. And we know Griffin is cool with pressuring so that shouldn't be too much of an issue

All this discussion about Perry v Gall and no one is talking about the fact that Fight Goes The Distance is at fucking 4.0?????

Even the O1.5 is 2.1. I actually can't believe what I'm seeing

Because it... is incredibly unlikely this fight is to go the distance?

Two monsters in their respective strengths which both revolve around someone being unconscious. Neither are Wonderboy point karate fighters.

I'm not surprised ...gall can't even make it through R2 against 38 years old deigo

Those events will most likely be held at the UFC APEX, which means no fans will be in attendance.

• Poirier -170 (I bet it earlier this month)
• Poirier/Hooker O2.5 -110
• Philipe Lins -105
• Several favorites are super juiced right now, and I don't feel like betting them.

I'm researching some underdogs that haven't been talked about yet on this forum or in the videos I've listened to on YouTube. If I feel my read is good enough, then I'll place a bet and post it in the Bets thread.

On a side note, Kay Hansen has 6 wins. 4 out of her 6 wins are finishes in Round 3. Her Round 3 prop is currently +1500.

I noticed that too from Hansen. I'm bad at predicting rounds but that's def worth a few bucks. Seeing most everyone on Lins. Kind of a wierd fight as I see them being pretty similar actually- counter punchers, good leg kicks, good chin. I guess Lins is probably more active? I'll probably stay away anyway lol. Thinking about a few props, Allen by TKO at +400 and Brahimaj 1st round at +375 and prob hedge that one with Sato ITD +181, what you think?

Available on other platforms as well except SoundCloud. Not really much of a breakdown. I’m super excited for the main event but overall I don’t see many solid betting opportunities personally.

I’ve been super busy the past few weeks and this particular card doesn’t jump at me so I’m not as motivated to sit down and watch tape on some of these fights and then record a cast breaking them down.

I’ll save you guys the trouble of listening to my cracked voice at 1:30am.

Poirier/Hooker starts round 3 -145 or o2.5 if you don’t have that option available. Leaning towards Poirier by late finish or decision because of his pressure, advantage in the pocket, and small cage. Hooker is great at range and Poirier is very hittable so both guys are extremely dangerous but at the same time super tough SOBs. Both can switch stance and both have a deep toolbox of offensive weapons.

O2.5 for Boser/Lins and throwing a lil on Lins dec +240. Both durable and don’t hit that hard for HWs. Pricey but should hit. Usually don’t pay juice for HW overs but there isn’t much to pick on this card.

Small flyers on Pena by KO +450 cuz Fight Finder Capping, o2.5 on Zala/Griffin, picking Perry to KO but price is whack, a few other leans not worth mentioning.

Like next weeks card a ton better and will do a better breakdown with more effort.
