News UFC On ESPN 10 Fighter pay

UFC pays medical expenses.

But yes. I get your point.
they pay for the hospital visit after the fight, not any follow up surgeries, therapy. Smh, they essentially pay for the ambulance and some pain killers

No, they pay surgeries. Any injuries they get in a fight, they cover their medical bills

Yeah just looked it up, I was mistaken. Still though, I guess I'm saying a lot of that fight money is accounted for before they even make it

LOL what you guys think? Fighters getting paid enough or what?
Vettori got $136k
Aguilera got $74k
Agapova's at $70k
Nam at $78k
With POTN

Card was light pay seems fair with what we saw.
*although I'm surprised eye is getting less than Calvillo with way more fights in the UFC.

That's what they should have been paid before the POTN

You do know that that half that would be cut would go on and make even less in another promotion, right?
Thems the brakes..

Would be better than watered down content. If their good enough they will make it to the big show eventually anyway.

I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing out they get paid shitty. I've been saying the fighters should unionize for 10 years lol. Just because they are going about it the wrong way, doesn't mean they aren't under paid. Put up the Bellator numbers so we can compare, otherwise stop talking about it
Here's an example of Bellator pay, with win bonus some make less than 5k

And I agree they are paid shitty. I just wanted to point out that it's supply and demand and most of us here wouldn't pay a dollar out of their own pocket to see a higher fighters pay but we complain that uncle D doesn't pay

dana should be ashamed he tips higher than some of those pays

Yeah 2,000 dollar pay outs are dog shit fr. No excuse for that. But otherwise, they aren't far off what the UFC pays for mid card talent, but the fact bellator makes way less and still pays damn near the same for mid level fighters is shocking imo

Yeah, because the only "work" involves showing up in the cage, and they don't have training expenses.

Fighters in this income tier don't even turn a profit fighting in the UFC unless they manage to win 2-3 times a year.
I'm not agreeing with that STUPID post @BEATDOWNS made, but a lot of these guys should really look into hiring decent accountants for their taxes because a lot of things could be written off as business expenses and take home more.

Not bad for a nights work. They got paid a lot more than I did.

And that doesn't reflect the reebok pay.
Reebok pay is like an extra 1,500-3,000 for most fighters. Probably could get twice that form One of their own sponsors if the UFC allowed them to wear it on their shorts still.

its never enough. humans will always want more.

they are free year round.
only have to work one week, with the media obligations and cutting weight.
by work, i mean doing shit you dont want to do.
they don't train?

You've made so many wrong ass assumptions all thread. Saying ufc wont cover medical and bellator pay near as much.
"The current pay structure under the deal sees fighters with one to three UFC fights earning $3,500. Fighters four to ten UFC fights on their record make $5,000. If a fighter has 11 to 15 bouts, they receive $10,000, while those with 16 to 20 bouts make $15,000. The top tier, for those fighters who have more than 21 UFC contests pays $20,000. Title challengers make $30,000 and champions receive $40,000."

The entry levels like Ivy who likely we never see again get more then you pretend is top.

I agree with this whole heartily. The greatest promoter in the world Dana White doesn't like competition though, so he holds on to fighters just to deprive other Orgs.
So you want the fighters to get paid more, but only half of them.....
