UFC now worth 16 Billion, Quadrupled in value. Expected further growth in brand

At some point the bottom gotta fall out on all these sports valuations imo not sure when but I think it’s coming at some point

Good movies, great tv shows, nfl content on Sundays plus Ufc on Saturdays. Paramount is positioning themselves to be a solid 3 stream choice behind Netflix and Prime. They didn't overpay

I don’t even think you can get paramount here. I’ve never heard anyone talk about it or say they have it.
Beyond the U.S., Paramount+ is available directly in countries like Canada, Mexico, Australia, Latin America, the UK, and parts of Western Europe (e.g., France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland). In much of Europe—especially the Nordics and Central/Eastern Europe—it’s available through the joint SkyShowtime platform. Additionally, it’s accessible in regions like Japan, Greece, the Middle East/North Africa, the Philippines, and (soon) South Korea through local distribution partnerships.

Yes, it did look like an overpayment. Paramount is paying twice what ESPN was without the PPV revenue (and at a time when the PPV revenue, and therefore interest in the UFC, has shown some decrease).

It is possible that a new model like this could grow the brand since all you now need is a subscription.

The UFC could still bottom out if this model doesn't work and new subscriptions tail off sooner than expected. I think Paramount did it to get a leg up on the streaming sports market with an organization popular with young men that has year-round content.

I'm interested to see how the chips will fall.

Cliffs :
-UFC is now valued at close to 16 Billion
-Paramount overpaid for UFC rights to get everything
-Originally Paramount only getting fight nights. Decided to get ppv cards too but had to pay extra.
-PPV Cards almost went to Netflix or Amazon
-UFC is expected to keep growing and get more fans now that everything is more accessible on Paramount + CBS
-Paramount is betting big on UFC and is advanced talks for Zuffa Boxing

The UFC should use their extra money to expand faster abroad in Europe and Asia. They are focusing to much in America.

And meanwhile, the big 3 sports are giving at least 50% of the profits to its players, while Dana annually makes more than the entire roster combined and fighters are begging for 50k bonuses every fight night.

Also of note, the second richest human in the world is the person that paid for this UFC deal.

Wild times we're in
