CJNG Cartel dont really operate in Mexico city, their thing is in other states.Mexico is no joke. Really not for amateurs.
I bet they would target an UFC event though, it has nothing to do with it. This cartel shit is like here in Brazil. More about vengeance against other factions or police.
No gains for them going for an international event like this.
Lived there for a few years (business)and felt like I had endless cardio when Iād be in beach towns. It was wild.It would be interesting to see what happens if a bunch of fighters who trained to fight at Mexico City elevation end up fighting at the Apex instead. Imagine everyone on the card turning into Merab . . .
This is from living there (DF) 2007-11 so canāt speak for it now; but yeah, definitely a larger police and noticeable army presence than other parts of the country. It would be a huge headache on so many levels to relocate, but who knows, the security situation could deteriorate rapidly maybe even in Mexico City. But I'm thinking that's unlikely to happen as the key to the cartels' power is being allied with or even being in control of regional and local governments. In Mexico City that's not the case, as far as I know, and as well the Mexican Armed Forces headquarters are all in Mexico City. Let's see what happens.
True; but like 15 years ago, remember they were fighting in places like Monterey, Merida, and other cities that hadnāt typically been hotspots for cartel violence.CJNG Cartel dont really operate in Mexico city, their thing is in other states.
damn, a character from a movie. holy shit, thats dangerous.b-b-b-but mexicans are good and hardworking people

That's begging an open invitation for the Cartels to "make a statement".
First off, respect for keeping a relatively cool head as it seems like.Could you please elaborate? I live in Guadalajara, Jalisco, basically the hometown of this cartel, he was killed about 2hrs from here, yesterday there were a LOT of incidents, but its not like cartel bombs arenas, they set buses and cars on fire, set convenience stores like 7Eleven on fire, not bombing arenas...also another thing...they are not targeting CDMX (Mexico City), which is 8hrs away from here.
Its facts, i live in the city with the incidents, its cartel hometown basically.
Its not, but its also not "randomly unsafe" like the US, we have our type of violence.
Would watch. 100%.
