Live betting this event fully, putting money on spicely or even newbies like Nash, Johnson, kimball and trying to go to sleep is not possible.

kimball getting smashed across the board...

pretty steady movement on shevchenko, masvidal, caceres, nash, too.

Sup compadres

I am on Marquardt thus far, thinking of playing Masvidal, Ngannu round 2 & Caceres.

Are there any plays most of the thread feel confident about?

I'm on all of the same besides Ngannous Rd 2 specifically. I do have ITD there as well. A lot of the thread likes Shevchenko. It's one of the two fights that I'm having a hard time with though.

In theory it should be a win for Shevshenko, especially over 5 rounds. However Pena is one of few female fighters who understand positioing in grappling well in my opinion. Pena is good at winning rounds when the opportunity presents itself.

I'll probably not bet on the fight, I hope Shevensko wins though as I don't like Pena >_<

Lima up to -140, think it'll shoot back down when people see Kimball at the ceremonial weigh ins?

I think I like the +5.5 small. I'm exactly with you on the positioning. I think it can win rounds and I don't see Shevchenko finishing.

i actually thought kimball looked the best i've seen him in a while at the early weigh-ins..

He looked 10x better than a couple of the fights I watched. I may hit Lima rd 1 and Kimball dec..

"We have the inconvenient truth. That's the weigh ins, and the staredowns"

This new guy sucks

Wow Johnson University of Iowa D1 wrestler

He's gonna America the fuck out of Frankenstein. Confidence increase

Frankenstien looked quite a bit bigger, I doubt anyone's trusting his gas tank but one bad loss can't write him off imo let alone consider johnson is ufc calibar just yet.

Ok, hopefully someone can run that back and decipher it, but it sounded like Cerrone said "talking all that" and than said something about whoopin Mas and Mas said "just know it was sparring session"

Hope I'm right for mega Cerrone confidence increase

fight pass:

gonzalez-cottrell
cottrell looks very solid.. fitter than his ufc debut for sure (which was short notice)
gonzalez ludicrously big as always. i think he is quite possibly the biggest 155'er on the roster. it makes NO SENSE how big he is for 155..
gonzalez is about 4" taller

pantoja-shelton
shelton looks great, same as on the show
pantoja looks good, too. both very slight builds, both the same as during tuf
they're the exact same size

fs1:

de lima-kimball
kimball doesn't look great, but i'm telling you, he looks better than several of his fights. but yes, he should be 185. and yes, he's unimposing.
pezao looks a bit soft, no doubt. 209.5. softer than usual
de lima is about 1" taller

dichirico-spicely
dichirico looks solid at 185 as usual, not a huge MW but comfortable
spicely looks ok for him. still unimpressive, obviously, but much better than 205 version.
they're very similarly sized

da silva-johnson
johnson looks ok. i know he used to be HW, but he honestly doesn't seem like a big 205'er. kinda soft.
frankenstein looks alright. little better than his last fight IMO.
frankenstein is 1-2" taller

jingliang-nash
jingliang looks excellent as usual, goofy lookin dude but he's lean and ripped.
nash looks strong, too. pretty big 170's.
jinglieang may be 1" taller, hard to tell from nash's stance

sterling-assuncao
sterling absolutely shredded as usual
assuncao looks very solid as usual
sterling about 1-22" taller (hard to tell w/the hair)

marquardt-alvey
alvey looks mediocre as always. nothing unsuaul.
marq lookin solid. strong.
alvey is 2" taller

fox:

knight-caceres
knight looks good.. very lean but looks good.
caceres energy for days.. also super slender 145.
they're about the same size.. caceres maybe 1" taller? (shoes on for knight)

ngannou-arlovski
ngannou a beastly 256. looks damned scary.
AA looks alright.. he's 246.. doesn't look BAD, but yea, bit soft.
ngannou 1" taller maybe

masvidal-cerrone
masvidal does look better this fight than his first few at 170.. i think the best shape he's been in for a while.
cowboy looks solid, same as usual at 170 for him.
they're the same size

shevchenko-pena
shev lookin pretty ripped, looks great. (mostly from early weighin)
shev looks solid as always. still undersized.
pena is 2" taller, does look bigger at square-off.

Shev looked more muscular and stronger then pena, quite surprised by that !

I'm not buying the Ngannou hype. He hasn't beat fucking anybody.. all these heavyweights look like killers until they fight someone like Arlovski.

This card isn't the best for betting imo. A lot of pick-ems.
