UFC Fox 23 - Pena vs Shevchenko - Denver

Was just browsing Jordan Johnson's record and noticed that in his 2nd pro fight he beat a guy named Ryan Scheeper. According to the Fight Finder, this dude's record is 4-37 and he has lost his last 20 in a row, all inside the first round. That determination is pretty impressive. I have a few buddies with that mentality when it comes to trying to pick up chicks at the bar, which is equally sad because they are in their late 30s just like him.
 
Jesus christ. Finally watching more Bobby Nash, what a stark contrast the Trevino fight is to the Gonzalez fight. Looks sooo much worse. Basically gets his shit kicked in til the bomb and the choke. Are we 100% sure this guy is a D1 wrestler? If thats not #FakeNews then maybe that dec line still holds some value (no d1 wrestler isn't going to get better and better at the stage of their career Nash is at), but otherwise Jingliang by KO is the play

So judging by general responses to the factors of this fight, people think this is a striker vs grappler match and I disagree.

Schev doesn't train specifically for anyone and esp not for Pena. Shev is going to take Pena down at points of this fight. Is that a bold statement or do we all agree? Sure that's Pena's game but I'm pretty sure in Schev's head that she's going to try and fight a complete fight.

However that translate in the cage I'll leave to your interpretation. It could mean she'll give Pena the opportunity to clinch with her or it could mean that if Schev can take her down she can put it into Pena's head that she can handle her strong suit which is the grappling.

My believe in Nash starts to look like desperation when I read all those comments Iul but still has image Li' been taken down by school teacher also I hear about Li's power and boxing technic that I couldn't find anywhere.

I've beg for the same gameplan. Don't try show your detroit amateur boxing just g&p motherfucker or l&p since these are under old rules whatever . He has writen on his twitter "best damn ww on the planet ." Hope dude is desperate for the first W like I am betting significant $ on him lol haha

She was easily taking down Nunes, Pena isnt much harder imo.

I know some guys are on Pena, but I think itll look like a mismatch. Again, my opinion.

I admire his purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality.
 
jingliang just went from -150 straight to -125 quite the jump

Memory a bit fuzzy because I wasn't really paying attention, but didn't Jessica eye take Pena down? Smh

Yes she did. {<jordan}

Sherdog loves to say a fighter got "exposed" when they lose when in reality it wasn't. However in this case I feel like Pena will get exposed like Holm did.

It has honestly not crossed my mind that Shev would attempt a TD. I expect Shev to try and make this a kickboxing fight.

Hard to know what her plan is.
