The UFC is grooming Song Yadong the same way they did/do with The Leech.

Both guys have wins against guys who aren't in the UFC anymore. The UFC had to bring in a debut fighter for Yadong to shine in Beijing.

Jake's improvements consist of him getting insanely huge (for realz see him before and after Bojan fight) and more confidence. I didn't see some technical leaps TBH.

Jake has improved for sure, but if Leech keeps fighting with his chin the air he's going to keep losing to anyone with sharp hands. It's not a recipe for success.
