UFC fighter discloses OnlyFans earnings

Basically

And then

(No "maybe," it very much does mean that)

"Selling sexuality, (which I call all levels of "prostitution," even if they're not actually having sex) should not be ok, despite the fact that it has always and will always exist, and I, myself, consume it."

It's like the people who think flipping burgers is a dead-end job that no one should be doing or earning a living off of, but still want people doing it because they'll always want a burger.

It's a pretty shitty opinion. People in this thread were talking before about what kind of guys would be dangerous to these kind of workers, and it's the ones with your mentality right here.
As I said, I don't want make this a discussion, I wanted to give my opinion.
You find it shitty and that's fine.
I find your mindset to be shitty too.

That has existed before OnlyFans too though. That's my point. LiveJournal became pretty much only porn over a quick amount of time too, and that's not the only example

Every complaint about OF comes off to be purely a problem with the common perception of it, and that people are upset seemingly only for the fact the creators who are selling sex are too "accepted" by everyone and that they aren't being shamed enough by others, because they think it's something those people should be ashamed about
What has definitely never existed in society before, is pornography being normalized to the extent that random chicks you meet at jobs and etc have side jobs as porn stars.

Even ten or fifteen years ago if you had told me that we'd see the complete removal of all stigma from porn to the point random chicks I work with are telling me I should sub to their porn account, I'd have said you're a melodramatic crazy person.

Yet not only are we here, a lot of people don't even seem to think it's a BAD thing that we have arrived here.

:eek:over 1 million? Who are these women who are paying so much money to see men's balls?

Some guys wanna compete. There's a rush that comes with looking across the cage at a dude knowing you're gonna try to kick the shit out of each other and it's just "better man wins".
+1

Why is it so bad, do you think? Has it really made a difference to anything?
I think people don't realize that this is akin to the same kind of bootlicker propaganda people would normally find themselves unaffected by. Not to make this like some anti-capitalist spiel, but we live in a society that purposefully holds down a lower class of people so they need secondary incomes, and shame is a tool used so that those people can't make more money. The fact that there are some health insurance CEO's whose decisions contribute to 10's of thousands of deaths a year is just generally seen as bad, but 2 of them get shot at in a year and people start calling it domestic terrorism, but women who sell their bodies for sex are so commonly targeted for violence, it's practically it's own horror movie subgenre. People ignore that as much as they ignore other things that are "regular," like how hypersexualized our media has been for years. Just keep a narrative long enough, and the feelings towards it become "normal," so it's just normal to shame sex work.

News flash, EVERY job is one where you are trading your body, health, and time for money. Fuck, we're on a forum surrounding a sport where people allow themselves to be continuously injured and damaged through direct violence, body and brain, but we're supposed to be shaming people who spread their pussy for pictures? Why? Cuz you don't want your daughter to do porn or something? Treat them like the son you don't want doing MMA. Make some actual changes that can affect the opportunities they'll have. Same way Dana said fighting isn't a career and shitloads of fighters have other jobs, people are picking up OF because it is what capitalism drives us to: More income (which is becoming more and more of a necessity) by using a demand that exists. Where's the normalized shame on the rest of jobs that basically prey on people for profit? I feel like that should be first on someone's morality chopping block than naked cosplays

Corey is just feeding the degeneracy

It's unraveling the fabric of society imo. Many men aren't dating at all anymore. They keep doing studies and whatnot and a large percentage of men are just living their lives and ignoring women now. Not actively looking to date.

Women that are in the 4 or 5/10 range don't want anything to do with 4 or 5 quality men. Dating apps allow them to get smashed by higher tier men regularly, which makes them not want to date men at their level at all. They can get validation constantly from higher tier men, and now some of them can even get access to the money of mediocre men without having to date them at all.

Add in a legal system that doesn't favor men at all and allows women to initiate divorce for no reason other than boredom and take half your shit and your kids away, and a lot of men aren't even seeing a point in marriage at all anymore. Substance abuse rates are up, as are the rates of suicide and depression in otherwise seemingly healthy men.

So.... whataboutism then? Look multiple things can be happening at once, and most often are. I can't believe we're at a point where I have to explain why it's a bad thing that we've turned everyday people into sex workers.

The fact that people are being very intentionally funnelled in this direction doesn't... make what's going on ok. Why in the hell would it. I'm not sure how "a lot of things are bad right now so what's the big deal if we turn the majority of women into sex workers overnight" is a real argument I'm reading right now.

I get what you're saying, but it's less OF and the like that's causing a lack of dating and more tech than anything else. People don't connect at all anymore because of the ease of things like face book. That's been a way worse thing for the lack of dating and birth rates.

Heck, I've got friends that I grew up seeing 5/7 days a week. A decade into face book and we barely see each other now. I think it's been like 1.5 years since we hung out, and we live like 15 mins apart. We talked about it and it was just because firing up a chat on FB was so easy. Not saying this is good (I don't think it is at all), but so many people are like this nowadays.

People are growing up this way now. Lots don't develop the social skills to go out and meet people, let alone date.

People also aren't dating as much because dating costs money, and so many people are just way too poor now. A lot of people are in the situation where they look at the idea of meeting someone, getting a place to live together, having kids, etc. as all being literally something they can't afford where they could have before.

Something like OF doesn't put a dent in the lack of dating compared to tech and a growing lack of money.

Agreed that marriages in general suck. They're a stupid concept. Any male is legit stupid if they're not getting pre-nups and then just getting married.
