The world's oldest profession? It's really not though for obvious reasons. Any sexual material that is most often solo and purely visual portrayals that the owner has full control over their release will always be more like porn than prostitution.


That sounds like a perception problem, and only that people find it easier to engage in selling (which should be looked down on? I'm assuming by the way it's implied here?) than other porn avenues. But functionally speaking, is not actually different.

What you are writing isn't wrong but here is my problem with OF and other similar pages VS old porn.

- OF becomes a viable source of income for a new generation VS old porn wasn't really seen as something you would consider unless you were a total slut (let's stick with women career in porn for this discussion)
- Since OF is now viable it's also done by so many people that becomes a norm. Whoring (yes, I'm going to call it that and not modeling) yourself out is becoming acceptable among society, especially in the US from what I'm seeing. It's like something to be proud of to showing your anus on the OF as opposed to old porn when you would be more frown upon
- Since this becomes a norm and a viable means of earning and career then it slowly changes obviously how we perceive selling sexuality, from "she is a slut" to "she is a model". I personally find it very dangerous and the idea that showing your ass or blowing your boyfriend on camera for money is becoming a norm in some parts of world is mind blowing to me. You are not ashamed anymore in public when people know you just showed you asshole and blew your guy on camera, or showing your balls, you are treated more like a celebrity if you were previously known anyhow. No one sees anything wrong with it.

For me, this is not the world I would like my ( children to live in. And this is depressing stuff for me to be honest when I see which direction the world is heading with this.
Yes, sure, I watch porn too (although trying to stop that shit) and maybe it can be seem as being a hypocrite and whatnot but to me, I know that there is always going to be porn and prostitution. Oldest profession in the world etc. But since we can't get rid of it I would at least like that being a whore was not shown as cool thing to do and something widely accepted. And people arguing that that this is not prostitution, not whoring yourself out, it's modeling etc. I don't want to get into these discussions because I totally disagree and I won't change my mind on that so I don't want to waste anyone's time trying to convince me otherwise.

So yeah, these are my 2 cents on the matter. I don't really want to go into any discussions with this so if anyone agrees just give a like and if someone disagrees just move forward or tell me to fuck off and start jerking to OF, that's fine too
