I wasn’t seeing how anybody could pick Shara to win. And it wasn’t even a wrestler that blew up that hype train. A world class striker whooped him pretty easily, imo.

Izzy had 20/26 sig strikes/total strikes to 15/18 for Imavov. Defended every takedown easily.
Skillwise Izzy is still way ahead of Imavov, he just is at the end of his career. It's just a case of one fighting, fighting the best of the best since 2018.
Izzy has the same amount of title fights as Imavov has fights in the UFC.

I think Izzy wad winning the round, except maybe that Imavov landed the most damaging blow - the uppercut that snapped his head back.

I imagine Izzy got the round on the score cards. But even your numbers show he wasn't "picking him apart".

Well done! I certainly didn’t do nearly that well. I’m definitely not the best picker. But that is the only fight I gave my opinion on online, I just couldn’t imagine it going any differently. I do wonder how I would do not making all the picks but picking one underdog to upset.
