He always gave me the Jason Miller vibes, not just because of TUF 1 where he was a total mess, but other incidents afterwards as well.. I thought he will go the way of Miller. But Leben seemed more focused these days and not so maniac

It really hides his weaknesses too. He's a bit stiff and can't lead well with other punches but that jab is so money that Cuamba looks uncomfortable at all times because of the jab alone.

Oki was having success feinting and causing Cuamba to bite and slide off and then popping him with the jab as soon as he stepped back into range. Seems like he got the distance dialed in pretty early this fight

totally agree. remember that one card a year or so ago, where merab headlined - it was at a smaller venue in one of the Vegas burbs bc power slap was booked in at the apex - that card had a fantastic atmosphere with the smaller crowd and seeing the large merab contingent at the end. I really liked that

yes, was that where they were walking through the crowd basically? agreed, the smaller venues, make the APEX cage smaller, different color, and bring back some rowdy ass locals fueled on bud light. there's too much pagentry and updated inner building dynamics for the APEX.

Oki was having success feinting and causing Cuamba to bite and slide off and then popping him with the jab as soon as he stepped back into range. Seems like he got the distance dialed in pretty early this fight

Cuamba also showed tight fundamentals too so it makes that distance even more impressive.... fights dry but I have no idea why people are saying these guys suck.
